CHRIS FARRIS

Chris Farris has been pushing scooter since he was 10 years old — running setups from Lucky, Ethic, and Tilt, and showing up at Camp ROYAL every summer because he believes deeply in what we're building. He's one of the founding faces of the ROYAL coaching family, and the campers know him as much for his presence as his pro-level skills.

On any given week at camp, you'll catch Chris running sessions on the airbag, talking through line choice on the mini mega, or sitting around the courtyard helping a kid work through whatever's on their mind. His leadership goes beyond the park — he's a Club speaker, a mentor, and a Christ-follower who lives his faith out loud.

Off-camp, Chris keeps it simple: pool, ultimate frisbee, and the occasional electrical work side hustle. Matthew 7:7 is his anchor verse: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." The message he carries to every camper is the one he leads with himself — you can never lose when it comes to community, when it comes to your homies and your friends. You can't lose.

Chris says it best himself: "Camp ROYAL is the safest place for children to throw down extreme sports, make some art, or just simply get to know and accept Jesus as their savior. Camp ROYAL will change the future generation for the better."
